For many of the people working from home is like a dream job. Being able to make money not doing 9-5 work for other companies and using that skills to build a business online is something many people think of. Working from home we don’t have a boss making pressure on us, we can take time off and can be in any part of the world and still make money. There are so many advantages of working from home.
But sometimes it’s not as easy as we think. Like every business we have to give time to grow and working from home we have to deliver more because that’s how we are going to make a living. It’s easy to make $5, $10 from home per day but that doesn’t pay all of our bills. We have to work very hard, research, learn every day to build the business we are thinking of.
If you are working a corporate job my advice for you is to not leave it till you are sure that working from home will make you more money then you are making now. It will be so much frustrating if you can’t pay your bills on time.
Many people have shared their stories with me that they get burn out so easily. Early morning they wake up to check their emails and they get hooked. They forget to eat breakfast or are not being able to manage time to exercise or to keep work-life balance.
Here’s some tips on how to keep balance at home job
Make time table
Every profession has a time table. Just look at teachers, doctors, plumbers and more. All of them have working hours. You should make a list of things that you have to do every day and make a time table. This will help you very much and will make you more productive. Do the thing that is necessary first and make a deadline so you can finish it in time..
If you are a dad working from home, find at least an hour to spend time with your children/family. If your children are home and you are on the computer. That is not good for them because they don’t get time to learn things from you and it’s not good for you because you are getting love and support for your daily work.
If you are a young man/girl, find some time to hang out with your friend. Ask them what’s going on their life. If you have friends who are working from home then hanging out with them will help you to share ideas and grow your business.
Exercise is one of the important tips to not lose your mind while working. If you can manage some time walking/ running in the morning with the fresh air. This will boost your confidence towards the day and can help you to be proactive in your work. Exercising has lots of benefits, I am sure you know many of them. Work out at least 4-6 days a week, alternating a different kind of exercises.
